2 boys, aged 9, 11, arrested for trying to sell bomb

The children had reportedly been ordered to take the explosive device to the Bauchare area of the state capital.Child soldiers reportedly being trained by Boko HaramTwo young boys have been arrested in Yola, Adamawa State after they were caught trying to sell a bomb.
The children had received orders to take the explosive device to the Bauchare area of the state capital, according to Premium Times.
However they instead attempted to sell it to an aged man who is said to have rejected it.
“The two bombers are little boys. I saw when they took the explosives to one baba that buys scraps and the baba said he is not going to buy because it was small, they left,” a witness said.
“I was standing here in this fuel filling station when those boys left the baba but just as they got to the road, there was an explosion. One of them was injured and they started running,” he added.
The incident has been confirmed by the State Road Safety Corp Commander, Luka Ikpi.
“When I heard the noise, I rushed out but I was told it was tyre that got burst. But the sound I heard was not that of tyre. So I asked my officer in charge of intelligence to find out,” Ikpi said.
“It was when he came back that he confirmed my fears, and told me that two little boys have been apprehended. I then arrested them and handed over them to the police,” he added.

17 signs your partner takes you as an option, not a priority

You'll constantly feel desperate for those little moments when your partner makes you feel special and other times you feel really terribleUnhappy womanAnyone in a serious relationship expects their partner to put them above everyone else which in turn will be reciprocated so they can both work at having that 'perfect relationship'.
But when you are in a relationship where you keep hoping things will get better and you know you aren't the first thing on your partner's mind, it advisable to call off that relationship.
In this case, you should because you'll constantly feel desperate for those little moments when your partner makes you feel special and other times you feel really terrible.
If you've been trying to find a way around your dilemma, Lindsey Kupfer of YourTango lists a few signs to help you know where you stand in your partner's life:
  1. Almost all your plans with this person are last minute ...
  2. ... even though he/she always asks what your plans are for the night way in advance.
  3. You find yourself turning people down while you wait to see if he/she wants to see you.
  4. And then you regret that you wasted your night waiting on them.
  5. You're never the person they want to take to big events, like weddings.
  6. Even when they're seeing someone else, they still try to keep you on the hook.
  7. They almost always bail on things that are important to you.
  8. It takes FOREVER for them to respond to a text.
  9. You constantly feel like you put in ALL the effort.
  10. They expect you to always answer when they call, but never answer when you call.
  11. This sounds way too familiar: "We can't be together right now."
  12. You're always making excuses for them.
  13. When you try to stand up for yourself, they blame you for being needy.
  14. You remember everything they tell you about their lives ...
  15. ... but they never remember anything you say.
  16. You're unhappy most of the time.
  17. But you still hold on for those few moments you spend with them.

7 effective ways to prevent jealousy from ruining your relationship

Jealousy could scatter your thoughts in different parts and bring out the ugliness in youYou can't "fix" your spouse's jealousy, but you can help them handle it.To be jealous makes you human but when it becomes too excessive, it could cause irreparable damage to your relationship and self-esteem.
Jealousy could scatter your thoughts in different parts and bring out the ugliness in you. But to curb it,  you'll need to collect and rearrange the way you think.
As difficult as it is, you'll have to train and practice how to think differently and you'll be be surprised that it'll be a part of you in no time. No matter how bad your emotions get, you're strong enough to control them.
Holly Riordan of All Women State lists a few tricks to help you overcome your jealousy:
  1. Work on your relationships: If you truly trust that your partner will never leave you or #cheat on you, then there's nothing to be jealous about. Even if a #beautiful girl pops up on TV or walks by in a bar, the thought of going after her won't cross his mind. That's why the best way to get rid of your jealousy is to take a close #look at your relationship and work on fixing the reasons why you're doubting your man's faithfulness.
  2. Change your appearance: If you get jealous of every girl you see with #beautiful hair, head to the salon to get yours cut. If you get jealous of celebrities who live in mansions, put in a lot of effort at work so you can get a promotion and save up your #money for a nice house of your own
  3. Ignore your bad qualities: Make a list of the things that you like about yourself, and what you don't like about yourself. Now, for the next week, avoid looking at those negative #things when you walk past a mirror. Only allow yourself to #look at the beautiful aspects of yourself. When you start viewing yourself as pretty, you'll stop being so jealous of every beauty queen you see.
  4. Don't compare yourself to others: What's the point in comparing yourself to the celebrities you see on magazines or the strangers you see on the street? You aren't entering a competition against them. They're just normal #people like you are, so there's no reason to judge them (or yourself).
  5. Become inspired by other girls: If you see a #woman with a cute shade of lipstick on, don't be jealous of her. Ask her where she got it so you can buy it yourself. Instead of being jealous of the pretty #things you see, use them as motivation. Allow #beautiful women to inspire you to buy new makeup products and outfits.
  6. Find the root of the cause: Why exactly are you jealous of the valedictorian of your school? Is it because you wish you could go to a good #college like she will, because you wish you could give a speech in front of everyone like she will, or because your parents are disappointed that you didn't do as well as she did? Once you find the root of the problem, it'll be easier to fix it.
  7. Focus on yourself: If you have a severe issue when it comes to jealousy, it's probably due to your own insecurities. That's why you should take some time for yourself in order to figure out how you could build your self-esteem. The more #time alone you have, the more you'll learn to love yourself. Once you do, your jealousy will disappear.

Fake police officer operates in Lagos for 12 years unnoticed

A fake police officer who has been operating in Lagos for the past 12 years was arrested when he told operatives he did not know who Solomon Arase, the IGP is.Fake police officerGodwin Akhenamen has fooled his friends, family, community and even himself for 12 years as he operated as a police officer.
But his luck finally came to a halt when he was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command X-Squad in Ikeja, on Monday, June 6, 2015.
Seeing his bearded face and unkempt uniform, the operatives asked him who he was and he promptly identified himself as a police officer complete with an identity card.
Not satisfied, an operative asked him who Solomon Arase, the Inspector General of Police, is, but to their surprise, Akhenamen replied that he does know anyone with that name and neither does he have a problem with the person.
He was promptly bundled into the Squad's vehicle and driven to the state command office where, upon interrogation, Akhenamen confessed that he has been a fake police officer for the past 12 years.
He even told his interrogators that he did what he due to his love for the force and has been surviving as an officer of the law all those years.
He further confessed that he had tried to join the force about 15 years ago but was not successful since he had no primary education but that disappointment did not stop him as he borrowed money and sowed a uniform and boom, he had realised his 'dream'.
The state police has said he will soon be charged to court after investigations.
