New Super Eagles coach says he cannot be bribed

Sunday Oliseh said that he would run a honest administration in the Super Eagles and will not accept money from any player or player's agentNew Super Eagles manager Sunday Olisehhas maintained that he will not bribed by players who want to get into the national team.

Nigerian coaches have been accused of collecting bribes while choosing players for their team, but Oliseh said that he would run a honest administration in the Super Eagles and will not accept money from any player or player's agent.

“Like I said earlier on, I will only invite players who merit [being] in the national team by playing regular football in top European and African leagues," Oliseh is quoted to say by Complete Sports.

"I will call players who deserve to play for Nigeria. There will be no place for mediocrity in my team.

"I don’t want to believe that players and their agents bribe coaches to make the national team, but if it is true that it happens like the media has reported, I will say it is most unfortunate.

“I will not condone that. I am even too big to be bribed by any player. If it was so before, that era is gone because only the best will play for the Eagles."

Oliseh will take charge of his first Nigeria game in September when the Super Eagles take on Tanzania in Dar es Salaam in a2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.

He is set to recall John Obi Mikel for that game.

Journals Consortium’s Best University in Nigeria For 2015 see if your school made the list.

The 2015 ranking of African universities and higher institutions has placed the University of Ibadan as the best in Nigeria and eighth in Africa. The Journals Consortium conducted the ranking, which involved 1,447 African universities and higher institutions.

The focus of the ranking was on research publications, citations from the last five years and visibility on the Internet.
South African institutions dominated the top 10 in the ranking, with the University of Cape Town coming first, garnering 45.02 points.
Cairo University, with 43.43 points, came second while the University of Pretoria, South Africa, came third.
In all, South Africa has six institutions in the top 10 while Egypt has two.
Nigeria and Kenya have one university each in the first top 10 positions.
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka was ranked second in Nigeria and 13th in Africa while the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, was ranked 18th in Africa.
The University of Lagos ranked 20th on the table, while the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, ranked 24th.
The only private institution from Nigeria on the table is Covenant University which ranked 53rd on the continent.
The UI Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Adewole, in his reaction to the ranking, said the vision of the university, was for it to be a centre for academic excellence.
He said the school would not relax in its contributions to research, teaching and other academic activities.

50 Cent has reportedly filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

This is coming after a judge ordered the rapper to pay a woman $5 million for leaking her sextape.

According to the reports the I Get Money rapper filed, 50 reported assets and debts each in the range of $10 million to $50 million.

The New York rapper, who rose to fame after his debut album Get Rich Or Die Trying in 2003, has been known to delve into many businesses.

Many of his other interests have included drinks, headphones, clothes and much more, with his 2007 sale of VitaminWater to Coca-Cola reportedly worth millions.

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy allows a debtor to remain in control of his business operations, protecting it from creditors, and is subject to the oversight and jurisdiction of the court.

“Mr Jackson’s business interests will continue unaffected in the ordinary course during the pendency of the Chapter 11 case,” 50 Cent’s attorney, William A Brewer III, said in a statement.

He added: “This filing for personal bankruptcy protection permits Mr Jackson to continue his involvement with various business interests and continue his work as an entertainer.”

The only guy who would label himself a nice guy is one who is reflecting on an excuse about why he doesn’t get the things he wants
The ladies don’t want you to grumble or constantly make excuses for why you’re not able to get the things you want or achieve your set goals. A girl doesn’t want a guy that takes her out but becomes pissed if he’s not able to get her in bed at the end of the outing or one that gives her gifts while expecting to get something in return (usually sex-related). Actions like these negates the good guy that was initially portrayed from the beginning. It’s great to keep it at the back of your mind that doing something nice for someone doesn’t necessarily make them obligated to want to date you or have sex with you.

President Buhari's 'son' arrested for defrauding unsuspecting Nigerians

A con man who has been posing as the son of President Buhari to dupe unsuspecting people has been arrested.A scam artist who posed as the son of President Muhammadu Buhari so as to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians with the promises of giving them lucrative contracts from the government, has been arrested by operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

A statement from the FCT SARS say the suspect has continuously promised to secure contracts for his victims from the president, saying he had made billions of naira through this illicit venture.

He was also dropping names of top politicians and businessmen to convince his victims, often wielding superimposed photos of himself with the president and other top politicians.

The statement reads:

“He mostly approached big contractors, who were desperate to see the president or any of the governors. He would put fake calls across to the supposed politicians in the presence of his victims and convince them to book appointments.

From there, he would demand that the politician’s security officials needed to be settled with huge amounts of money before the contractor would be granted audience with the president or the governor.”

But the fake president's son ran into troubled waters when a duped contractor, after waiting for many weeks without getting to see the president as promised by the hoodlum, reported his ordeal to the police, complaining that after collecting lots of money from him, the scammer was yet to take him to the president.

To the surprise of the police operatives, the suspect turned out to be a criminal who has been on their wanted list for similar offences in the past.

The Police Public Relations Officer for the FCT command, Anjuguri Manzah, confirmed the story, saying that acting on a tipoff, SARS operatives arrested the suspect on Saturday, July 4, at about 2 am.

“The truth is that the suspect had defrauded so many people. To perfect his act, he paraded himself as the son of the president. Three Mercedez Benz and one Peugeot 406 cars were recovered from him as exhibits."
