Barcelona Beat Roma 3-0 In Pre-Season Friendly

Barcelona have continued to dominate through their pre-season as they look to retain the treble they picked up so impressively last season. The most recent dominating performance was their 3-0 thrashing of Roma.

Barcelona were always in control of the game and in the 26th minute, got the goal their dominance deserved as Neymar received a pass from Matheiu which he finished into the net with a one-time shot. Messi went from villain to hero after he was lucky to survive a red card for head-butting yanga Mbiwa as he scored his signature curler into the back of the net from the edge of the area in the 41st minute. The second half was quite a boring affair until Rakitic brought it to life and by so doing killed AS Roma’s challenge in the 66th minute firing the ball into the top corner of the net from 25 yards.

Barcelona still have a few weeks before the La liga begins but they seem ready to go
